This course works along two lines. The first part of the class focuses on exploring and thinking about new media. We will be reading, watching, and interacting with a variety of texts in order to understand the way writing changes when it becomes multi-modal. We will also learn techniques and strategies for hypertext authorship.
The second part of the class focuses on a sustained collaborative effort to create a large multimedia project. Our class will take the Project:Loop wiki started by last semester's class and expand the project in significant and interesting ways.
