Homework for 14 March
Read chapters 5 and 6 of The Craft of Research. As you
read, think about the question below.
- In Chapter 5, the authors describe a number of different kinds of
sources. Choose one category of sources they describe, summarize its
description, and give an example of a source that would be in that
category.
When you're done reading, type out your answer to email or turn in.
As you do your research for your project, compile a list of your
sources for your Works Cited page. Type a list of at least 3 sources
to class on Monday.
Your list of sources should include proper citation information for
the works (a citation is an entry that tells the reader what work
you're referring to, and where they can find it). You can find MLA
citation information in your copy of A Writer's Resource or
here.
If you aren't sure how to format the list of sources, just do your
best.
