For our midterm assignment, you will expand one of your previous two essays into a 1000-1200 word (four page) essay. Your expansion should elaborate and deepen the discusssion you began in your earlier drafts. You may add discussions, anecdotes, elaborations or additional points.
As you consider your two essays, you should consider which essay would work best as an expansion. Read both of them again and ask yourself which one has more you could say? Which one has more anecdotes you could tell? Which one has more ideas you can add? Which essay would work better in long form? You don't want to add meaningless length to your essay, but to expand it meaningfully.
